Visit to Koolwerkz Learning Factory

Yesterday, I went on a "learning tour" to Koolwerk Learning Factory, set up in June 2005, by Temasek Poly to provide hands-on training approach for entrepreneurship development. It is located at Block 3017 unit #04-20, Bedok North Street 5, Gourmet East Kitchen. The small outfit is equipped with a complete set of ice cream making plant and facilities and students can simulate learning in a real environment with exposure to ice-cream making processes, inventory control, packing and even marketing! The learning factory now carries six flavours of ice cream... er.. I can only remember these : Mango, Green Tea, Honey Suckle, Strawberry, Vanilla. We tasted their ice-cream and its actually nice!
